it's been a really fun year seeing my fun side hobby turn into a little side business endeavor. on the advice of my dear friend linds, i sent a little note to heather at dooce.com in oct '09, which i never imagined she would even have the time to read. before i knew it, she graciously purchased one of my and featured it on her site.
within hours of her post i had 10,000 hits on my etsy shop and over 80 orders in one weekend!
since then, it's been an amazing expirience watching God turn something so little into an incredible means to help fund part of our adoption.
